The Lord God of heaven and earth prepared heaven for them that loved Him; in appreciation of the love of God to man but hell for the Devil and they that followed him to rebel against their Creator.
Know this fact that heaven is real and hell is real according to the bible in Luke. 16; the story of the rich-man and Lazarus, both lived and died, Lazarus went into heaven in the bosom of Abraham but the rich-man into hell where he was tormented in fire; his torment was so great that he said ‘’Father Abraham have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented on this flame’’. Luke16:24, even in this our own time in this world we have seen and heard the testimony of people who died, came back to life and shared their experiences of heaven and or hell; therefore run for your dear life.
The perilous time is here pointing to the second coming of the Lord Jesus which will precede the end of this world. 2Tim.3:1-6, ‘in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truculent, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Do you also know that the following will not inherit the kingdom of God? But the fearful, unbelieving, abominable, whoremongers and sorcerers, idolaters, Liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with brimstone which is the second death’’ Rev. 21:9; I therefore urge you run for your dear life, so that you don’t languish in hell forever. Jesus even told His disciples of the signs of the end, you shall hear of wars and rumours of war; many shall come in my name, saying I am the Christ. Nations shall rise against nations; kingdom against kingdom, there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers’ places. All these are beginning of sorrows then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name sake. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven. And the powers of the heaven shall be shaken. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory’’. (Matt.24:3-31).
What then is Christ coming to do? To take-away with Him those who believed in Him, gave their lives to Him; served Him and had endured to the end; so that they will not partake in ‘’Great tribulation’’ but will be with Him to reign forever before the day of judgement. Therefore run for your dear life. How then shall we be saved? You asked; Jesus said, ‘except a man be born-again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God’’ John 3:3, therefore run into Jesus Christ, He will save your soul from hell by the atoning power of His blood. As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God. John 1:12. Anyone conceived through the coming together of man and woman is a sinner, the Psalmist said ‘in sin was my mother conceived me’’. Psalm 51. Whichever soul that sinneth shall surely die. (Ezekiel 33:13), this is referring to second death following physical death following judgement or condemnation into everlasting torment of hell fire. But because God is compassionate, He prepared the way of redemption through the blood of Jesus. ‘’For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’’. John 3:16. The bible also says ‘whosoever believes in the Son shall be saved and not condemned but whoever believes not is already condemned and the wrath of God is upon him’’ John.3:18.
No matter what your religion or faith is if you have not given your life to Christ even if you belong to any cult, Jesus is calling you, ’Come ye out from among them and be ye separate, and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty’’.2Corinthians 6:17-18.
The bible enlisted them that will not enter into the kingdom of God, though no man is condemning you but your Creator, ‘’Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor Covetous, nor drunkards. Nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1Corinthians 6:9-10. Now let us see another reference of what will become of these Sinners according to the word of God, ‘’There shall in no means enter into it anything that that defiles, neither whatsoever worketh abomination or makes a lie but they which are written in the Lamb’s (Jesus is the Lamb of God) book of life. Revelation 21:27.
It has been appointed for man to die but only once and after this is judgement’’ Hebrews9:27; therefore you have only one life to live before you start your everlasting journey; so run for your dear life for no one knows when death will come .
For all men shall appear before the Great white throne to receive judgement. ’’And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God and the books were opened and another book was opened which is the book of life: and the dead were judged every man according to their works. And hell and death were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire’’ Revelation 20:11-15; therefore run for your dare life, get your name written in the book of life; to do this; take the following steps: What must I then do to be saved? You probably asked,’ Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved’’. Acts 16:31
ACTION TO TAKE
1. Acknowledge the fact that you are a sinner, ‘for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God’’. Romans3:23.
2. Recognise you can not help yourself but needs a Saviour 1John 4:9.
3. Confess and repent of your sins; for God is faithful to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness 1John 1:9.
4. Belief in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and Confess with your mouth Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour & that you give your life to Him Romans 10:8-10.
5. Ask Him to write your name in the book of life.
